Organizing committee of the IV International Motivational Film Festival
BRIDGE of ARTS announced the beginning of order taking for participation into the program of a film screening. For participation in the competitive program are accepted full-length and the short movies of the different countries corresponding to subject of the Festival, produced in modern traditions. Besides, in 2018 the competition of short film will be presented feature and documentary cinema.
"This year we even more expand both the program of movies, and the international cooperation with foreign film festivals, in connection with than in the program the special out-of-competition section can appear, presented by partner festivals. Last year we have carried out a row of screenings of the Russian cinema and winners of our film festival in Europe in framework of cooperation with a film festival of the Russian cinema in Paris, festival in London and Montecatini (Italy). This year we conduct negotiations and we will also prepare similar joint programs and events with the leading film festivals of Asia. Also, having seen the interest of the viewer in family children's cinema, we keep this program, where we plan to include also animation cinema", - reports program director of the festival Elena Larionova.
"Criteria at selection of pictures will remain invariable is a compliance to scope of a film festival, good direction, acting, operator work and everything that forces you to plunge into the movie and causes emotions. The name "International Motivational Film Festival Bridge of Arts" reflects those topics on which we place emphasis in the program of a film festival. Interaction of cultures, art, and motivation in its widest sense are the main subjects. Of course, If to speak about a motivation subject, such cinema owes us to inspire, learn, to show that it is necessary to fight for in what we trust and than we live and even if the movie final not frankly positive, this movie has to leave in us feeling of belief. Also we try not only to reflect the main scope of a film festival, but also to feel global trends and to submit special interesting programs, which differ every year. So, for example, this year in connection with carrying out in Russia the FIFA World Cup and that Rostov-on- Don it is chosen as one of the main cities of holding matches, we prepare to to display the special program of the best movies about soccer at the end of April, made in different years by different countries".
Within the pre -festival events will be organized motivational seminars on the subject "Success Story", where successful and status people from different spheres will meet students of Rostov. They will share the success stories, will communicate to students. "Now we consider the possibility to organize screenings of movies on this subject – it seems to us, it will be interesting for the auidience", - Elena Larionova reports.
Applications for participation in the program of a film screening are accepted from February 15 to June 10 2018.
